Recently, I went to the Max-Planck eco-entomological laboratory in Northern Germany, for three weeks. When there, I started drawing on the Golden Cage Weevil project. This picture shows the beetle or weevil pupating inside a self-constructed net case. The specimens were collected in the Central Amazonian floodplains. I am still working the drawings of its pupae and parasitic wasp.
